We host CT2Learn

Our innovative and proprietary Evolved Learning System (ELS) digital platform hosts CT’s internally produced and curated content for both online and on ground course delivery: CT2Learn. Comprehensive curriculum and course design expertise is an integral component of the ELS and is also offered as an independent service.

ELS Platform

The CT2Learn Evolved Learning System (ELS) is the culmination of years of experience at Curriculum Technology addressing and solving the needs and concerns of schools, instructors and trainers across the nation. These needs—and CT’s solutions—have included:

  • Development of academic and training content in a variety of forms, including textbooks, video/multimedia presentations, elearning accessible across a variety of user devices, and hands-on lab tools and supporting curriculum
  • Hosting of digital content to enable students or corporate clients secured access in a school computer lab or home/office environment
  • Building custom ecourses and ebooks for loading and delivery on the largest and most robust platforms, including eCollege, Blackboard, and others

Out of this rich and successful experience came the concept of the ELS – a proprietary platform in which content can be hosted for clients in a way that leverages our technical expertise with regard to the user experience (UX) as well as CT’s formidable skills in instructional design and instructor/faculty support.

Thus the ELS is a unique combination of content management, presentation, and course hosting system in a modular platform that can support clients in a variety of ways. For instructors who want ready access to content for their on ground, or online course (utilizing a different LMS), the ELS becomes a rich resource for complete course materials. For a corporate client who contracts with CT to develop an online training course, the ELS is the hosting portal through which that custom content can be delivered and managed. The course hosting capabilities currently include a variety of features, including grade books, assessments, student forum, and certificates of completion.

Content in the ELS is a combination of CT proprietary/copyrighted books and elearning, licensed product, open educational resources (public domain), current events, and custom-developed learning activities. CT curates new content into the ELS through our network of instructional designers, subject matter experts and “internet miners” who identify, review and manage content for quality, copyright clearances, and proper placement and presentation into the ELS. The CT2Learn ELS will Never be the place where you can find “460,000 learning objects” like other platforms tout. Rather, we hand select each item that goes into the system, ensuring our student, instructor, and school clients an excellent and efficient experience while in the system.
